The Capital Grille, the 71-unit division of Darden Restaurants Inc., is sponsoring its annual Generous Pour event through Aug. 31, the company said this week.

Orlando, Fla.-based Darden said the event offers customers a wine-tasting and educational experience crafted by the restaurant's sommeliers.

Inspired by the theme “Icons of the Vine,” customers try six wines from California producers, including a custom Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon from Jayson by Pahlmeyer and a new on-premises-only release from Orin Swift.

The wines are paired with The Capital Grille’s dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood and more.

 This year’s wine lineup includes:

  • The Language of Yes Central Coast “Les Fruits Rouges” Rosé.

  • Rombauer Vineyards Napa & Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc.

  • Rombauer Vineyards Carneros Chardonnay.

  • J Vineyards & Winery Russian River Valley Pinot Noir.

  • Orin Swift “Advice from John” California Merlot.

  • Jayson by Pahlmeyer “The Bench” Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon.
